Spring Biking in Florida

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011

Spring is a super time for a bike trip through Florida. Call a friend, pack your panniers, and plan a route from one Florida Bed and Breakfast to the next. Allow yourself to be pampered at the inns after miles in the saddle: soak in hot tubs, swim in pools, and sip wine on porches. Each morning you’ll be fed a tasty, nutritious breakfast before embarking on another day on the road.

Florida has more than 300 miles of trails suitable for biking. Just imagine how many Bed and Breakfasts Florida you’ll pass along the way.

Bike the Pinellas Trail in the Tampa, St. Petersburg area of CW Florida, or between Dade City and Citrus Springs. Explore the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail, which runs from Key Largo to Key West, or the Florida National Scenic Trail from Pensacola to Miami. Bike the short High Bluff Coastal Trail overlooking St. George Sound in NW Florida, or the 46-mile Withlacoochee State Trail between Orlando and Tampa.

It's just waiting to explore Florida.

Bike with a small group of friends or with your one-and-only. Enjoy a weekend bike trip or a lengthier trip of a week or two. No matter when you bike or where you bike, you’ll find Florida Bed and Breakfasts ready to welcome you.
