Club Continental Suites

Nestled on the banks of the St. Johns River, Club Continental, the beautiful former 27-acre private estate of the Palmolive Soap Company founder, Caleb E. Johnson, is now a romantic and intimate bed & breakfast and private club.  Towering sixty-foot tall live oaks draped with Spanish moss, flowering hibiscus trees, sweeping green lawns, flower beds and fountains surround the centerpiece, a Mediterranean style mansion with arches, stucco walls, and a red-tiled roof.  Old World Florida still exists at Club Continental.

The property features seven guest rooms in the original 1923 mansion and fifteen oversized suites known as the River Suites.  Each room is individually decorated and features a private bath and cable tv.  Many rooms offer private balconies overlooking the St. Johns River, some with fireplaces and/or jacuzzi tubs.

Guests enjoy the many amenities of this private club including gourmet dining, lush gardens nestled around the seven tennis courts, three swimming pools & cabana, and the casual River House Pub.  Come, relax with us!
