Hampton Lake B&B

Picture a large, clear, freshwater lake which invites swimming, waterskiing, seaplane landings, and of course fishing.  Relax in a rocking chair on the porch of our expansive bed & breakfast, where most rooms overlook the lake.  In the evening, watch the birds descend into their sawgrass nest, the sun set across the lake behind the cypresses and pines, and listen to the frogs and crickets lull you toward a good night’s rest.

Whether you come as a business traveler, for a birthday/anniversary celebration, to visit with family and friends in the area, or you just need that “get-away” time, we have the atmosphere to make your stay enjoyable.

Our property has over 50 acres to walk, ride  bicycles, watch wildlife, and use as a buffer from the noise of the world.  The large waterfront area and pier have a special beauty of their own for you to use and enjoy.  Free wireless internet throughout the house as well as many desks and tables for “spreading out the work” are available for the business traveler, along with breakfast which is available when YOU want it.

All of our guest receive a full breakfast, along with complimentary drinks in the guest refrigerator 24 hours a day.  And there’s usually one of Paula’s famous homemade cakes on the kitchen counter for evening dessert, or any other occasion.

We are close to Gainesville, Camp Blanding, Keystone Airport/European Rally School, state prisons, and the Keystone Heights/Melrose residential areas, yet worlds away from everything when you get here.
