Opus Airstream

Bordering the west side of downtown Gainesville in the 4th Ave. Food Park, Opus Airstream serves their brand of coffee and has a variety of teas and homemade baked goods from some of the area’s best local bakeries. The 4th Ave. Food Park is a relaxed, family and dog friendly space that has a lot of seating spread throughout their yard.
Our favorite: Oh Canada, lightly sweetened
Doxa Coffee Co.
15551 NW US Hwy 441 #7, Alachua, FL 32615
Doxa is an ultra-modern shop that feels welcoming and has plenty of seating. They are located in a strip shopping area just off I-75. From the outside, you would have no idea how great their coffee is going to be. And if you are up for trying something different, they have an extensive coffee menu.
Our favorite: The Floridian (if feeling experimental)
Curia on the Drag

Curia on the Drag is located 1.5 miles north of downtown Gainesville. The coffee shop is on a large lot of land with more than just coffee. Onsite sits a vegan food truck, Dad’s Bar and the AUK Market boutique shop. Curia’s coffee shop is artsy, small and cute on the inside, and outside has a variety of seating options that can suit just about anyone. This is a great place sit and sip your drink, read a book, or visit with friends and family. And it’s okay if you would like to bring Fido too.

Cymplify Coffee Company (aka C.Y.M Coffee.)

CYM has comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Located about a mile east of the I-75 Newberry Road exit, it sits in the middle of Gainesville. Their baristas are friendly which sets the tone for the atmosphere and makes it a great place to get good coffee and to relax or work on your laptop. Compliment your coffee with a savory croissant.

Karma Cream

Located between downtown Gainesville and the University of Florida, this is a perfect stop for a smooth coffee and a sweet treat. Karma Cream got its start as a vegan ice cream shop and has evolved into so much more, never seeming to sacrifice on quality. The inside has small tables and chairs, and the outside sidewalk is lined with café seating. Their cowboy cookie is a must!

The Talented Cookie, High Springs

Located in downtown High Springs, this is exceptional place to get coffee and dessert. The make their desserts in-house daily and their coffee syrups are made from scratch too. The comfortable, living room like seating, and so many excellent treats, can keep you there wanting to try more!

Volta Coffee, Tea & Chocolate

In the heart of downtown Gainesville, Volta offers a smaller, industrial décor and some seating inside, and café tables out front. They serve an array of rotating specialty coffees and teas, handcrafted espresso drinks and drinking chocolates. Pair your coffee with something off their menu of bites, entrees and desserts, and make sure to check out their selection of chocolate bars from around the World.
