Time to break out your flipflops and watch out for those pop tops as you cruise around the pool – Camp Margaritaville Opens in Central Florida
Camp Margaritaville Officially Opens in Central Florida
Known around the world as the brand best representing the laid back lifestyle captured in the hit 1977 beach bum classic, this is one of their first forays into the recreational vehicle market. Officially known as Camp Margaritaville RV Resort and Cabana Cabins, Auburndale, the resort builds on the bones of the wildly popular Cabana Club Resort. Cabana Club was open for just over a year before joining Margaritaville, and the view has been unanimous – guests love it. But don’t take our word for it, just check out their TripAdvisor reviews! The resort is located in Auburndale, just an hour southwest of Orlando, and an hour to the east of Tampa, and just outside Lakeland for Detroit Tigers Spring Training!
Roll into your new vacation destination
Featuring easy-to-park pull through sites, free WiFi and cable, full hookups, a charcoal grill and even a fire pit, there is ample space for your slide outs and extra vehicles.
For a premium experience, Motorhome Suites not only have views of Lake Myrtle but also a private tiki hut with a Kamado Joe Grill, outdoor two, hammocks and more.
No RV? No problem
Enjoy all the comforts of home in the middle of a five-star resort. With enough room to sleep six, these cabana cabins are more tiny home than mountain lodge. Featuring a full kitchen, spacious living room, a covered porch and picnic table, they are the perfect getaway destination for those seeking a less crowded environment.
Bring on the chill
Featuring a cabana bar, a zero-entry heated pool with a water slide and nearby splash pad for the kids, a challenging nine-hole putting course and even a dedicated corn hole area, there are plenty of outside activities for everyone. After all, this is the Sunshine State. On those occasional rainy days, there is an arcade on-site, as well as a gym.
In the middle of it all
A Central Florida vacation puts you in the heart of the state. The Elite Cable Wakeboard Park is just steps away from the resort, as is the 29-mile TECO/Van Fleet biking and hiking trail that takes you through the heart of Green Swamp, the source of the state’s fresh water. Just minutes away are the world-famous art deco Bok Tower, the cageless zoo of Safari Wilderness, the boundless fun found at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, and all the mud-puddle jumping possible at the new Peppa Pig Theme Park.
