Embark on the Treasure Coast Kids Quest This Summer!

We are so excited to officially launch the Martin County edition of the Treasure Coast Kids Quest, a new experiential learning program geared to children who visit and live in the region.

The immersive program is geared toward children ages 2-12 years old (although there’s really no strict age limit) and it combines entertainment and educational elements at some of Martin County’s favorite family-friendly attractions, including:

So, How Does it Work?!

Children are tasked with visiting each attraction this summer and completing the various challenges outlined in the Activity Passport. For example, the challenge at the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center is “visit the stingrays” and at the Children’s Museum, kids will have to “explore the pirate ship”.

After completing each highlighted activity, children will receive a stamp from an employee for that location (or they can take a photo completing the activity for a touch-free option, or if a stamp can’t be acquired). After earning 6 of the 7 stamps, program participants will be rewarded with a special prize: an explorer’s backpack filled with treasures such as a plush sea turtle stuffed animal, coral reef-safe sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and a certificate of completion.

Prizes can be collected from the last location stamped on the Activity Passport (with the exception of the Hobe Sound Nature Center and Jonathan Dickinson State Park), or from the Martin County Office of Tourism and Marketing (located at 2401 SE Monterey Rd, Stuart, FL 34996).

The Treasure Coast Kids Quest was developed in partnership with the three regional Treasure Coast tourism offices, comprised of Indian River County, St. Lucie County, and Martin County. Each county offers its own edition of the Treasure Coast Kids Quest program and the team is currently developing a special prize for any participants that complete all three county editions!
