The Mizzou Tiger fans here in Columbia, MO (you can call us CoMo) are thrilled to welcome Gator to our city for a football showdown the weekend of November 10th. We know your main goal is to watch the action on the field, but we have a lot to explore when you’re not cheering on your Tigers.
Guide to Game Day
University of Missouri’s football game against Tennessee at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Here are a few helpful links to make your game day complete:
Things To Do
Take the time to explore our vibrant downtown. Known as The District and adjacent to Mizzou’s campus, it’s perfect for grabbing a drink or a meal, shopping, viewing public art and just enjoying the game day atmosphere. Favorites like Bluestem Missouri Crafts, Boone Olive Oil, The Candy Factory, Poppy and Makes Scents will give you a chance to take something from CoMo home with you! You really can spend hours exploring all of the shops and sights.
-Be sure to head just beyond The District’s official boundaries and check out the North Village Arts District. Formerly an industrial area, NVAD is now home to art galleries, artists in residence, Dogmaster Distillery, and quaint coffee shops and restaurants.
-A bit off the beaten path, you’ll find The Stockyards and The Arcade District. These two areas are adjacent to one another and feature CoMo favorites Logboat Brewing Company, Ozark Mountain Biscuit and Bar, Beet Box, Irene’s BBQ, Witches and Wizards Arcade and Six-Mile Ordinary Distillery.
Get outside and check out some of CoMo’s green spaces. Spots like Stephens Lake Park and Rock Bridge Memorial State Park are gorgeous in the fall and provide great hiking and leisure options. Up for a challenge? Check out the MKT Trail, which links up nine miles south of Columbia with the statewide Katy Trail, the nation’s largest rails-to-trails project.
